ABout Us

This program has been created by Zuviriya Anarwala alongside the efforts of Alimaat looking for a way through which adult Muslim women can find a space to learn how to read and understand Arabic and reconnect with it.

Zuviriya has a passion for Qur’an as well as learning and teaching Arabic. She focuses on building the students love towards the Quran through teaching the correct pronunciation (Tajweed) as well as memorization. Zuviriya has done several courses and continues to grow in her education. She is currently pursuing her Masters of Science in Education and Social Policy at Northwestern University. She has been working with an amazing team of women who have incredible experience in teaching Quran, Qaida, as well as Arabic from places such as Darul Uloom South Africa and Darul Uloom Chicago.

Our sessions are

  • Personalized

Our current offerings focus mainly on individual 1-1 classes but you can also join group classes.

  • Targeted

Students will receive targeted instruction on reading or comprehension skills they can work on to improve fluency or understanding.

  • Impactful

Students are empowered to confidently read Arabic through a well-designed, emotionally supportive learning environment that meets them where they are.

OUR CURRICULUM

We use several books in our Arabic curriculum such as Fundamentals of Classical Arabic by Shaykh Hussain Abdul Sattar, Miftaah-al-Arabiyah and Al-Arabiyah Bayna Yadayk.

OUR TEACHERS

We have teachers specializing in two fields. Arabic reading and Tajweed teachers have several years of experience teaching Arabic reading using the Qaida. Conversational Arabic and Arabic grammar teachers have taught learned Arabic for several years under scholars.

OUR GOAL

We aim to make Quran and Arabic learning easily accessible and integrated into everyday life for as many people as possible.
