ABout The Ustaadha

This program has been created by an Ustaadha who was desperately looking for a way through which adult Muslim women can improve or begin their Quran journey. After several encounters with people in her life looking for a place to learn the Quran without shame, Ustaadha decided to create her own platform.

Ustaadha Zuviriya has a passion for Qur’an as well as learning and teaching Arabic. She focuses on building the students love towards the Quran through teaching the correct pronounciation (Tajweed) as well as memorisation. Ustaadha has done several courses and continues to grow in her education. She is currently pursuing her Masters of Science in Education and Social Policy at Northwestern University. She has organized an amazing team of women who have incredible experience in teaching Quran, Qaida, as well as Arabic.

Our sessions are

  • Personalized

    Children and adults can both register for our program. Adults will receive individual instruction, while children will receive group instruction integrated with personalized time with the instructor.

  • Targeted

    Students will receive targeted instruction on tajweed skills they can work on to improve their recitation.

  • Integrative

    Children will receive Islamic Studies instruction as part of their curriculum.

OUR CURRICULUM

For any student beginning their journey of Qaida learning or continuing in Qaida, the Safar Publications Qaida will be used. For Quran students, a color-coded or general Mushaf is used. It is recommended for students to have a physical copy of what they will be using for interactive learning.

Our teachers

All of our instructors have taught both Qaida and Quran throughout the years. The instructors have both online and in-person teaching experience with students.

We aim to make Quran learning easily accessible and integrated into everyday life for as many people as possible.
